CBHG Building was honored to be entrusted with the construction of the new Westpac Rescue Helicopter base in Lismore. This purpose-built facility is designed to support the vital operations of the Northern NSW Helicopter Rescue Service, renowned for its exceptional 24-hour aeromedical and search-and-rescue services.
The state-of-the-art building encompasses a range of functional spaces, including a high-tech communications room, comfortable sleeping quarters, administrative offices, a spacious hangar, and a dedicated helipad. Located adjacent to the Lismore airport runway, careful attention was paid to soundproofing the sleeping quarters, ensuring minimal disruption from the noise of incoming and outgoing aircraft.
This project not only reflects our commitment to delivering top-tier infrastructure but also highlights our pride in contributing to the advancement of lifesaving services. We were privileged to help bring this world-class facility to life.
