Lismore Regional Sports Hub

CBHG Building proudly delivered the Gordon and Tidal Pavilions as part of the transformative redevelopment of the Lismore Regional Sports Hub, a key project that has become a central hub for sporting activity in the region. This redevelopment serves as a vital focal point for local sports, enhancing both the functionality and appeal of the facilities for athletes, spectators, and the wider community.

The project encompassed a comprehensive upgrade of two major sporting fields, with significant enhancements to both Crozier and Oakes Oval. At Crozier, the upgrade introduced a rooftop terrace, state-of-the-art media and broadcasting facilities built to national standards, as well as modernized amenities, function rooms, a kiosk, and extensive upgrades to the change rooms. Oakes Oval saw the addition of a terrace level behind the main grandstand, improved media and broadcasting infrastructure, corporate boxes, and a complete internal refurbishment of the Gordon Pavilion. Additionally, new amenities were constructed to ensure an elevated experience for all users.

The project faced unique challenges when the region was struck by devastating floods during construction. Despite these setbacks, CBHG Building adapted to the situation by incorporating necessary remedial work, ensuring the grounds were restored and made fully operational. This resilience allowed the project to continue toward completion while maintaining the high standards of excellence expected.

This redevelopment not only upgraded key facilities but also strengthened Lismore’s standing as a premier destination for sports in the region, combining modern design with functional innovation to create a space that will serve the community for years to come.
