Cherry Street Sports Club

CBHG Building was engaged to undertake the multi-stage refurbishment of the Cherry Street Sports Club in Ballina. The project was Design and Construct, which made clear and consistent communication essential. We ensured that the club was always informed of upcoming works, enabling them to plan for electrical and plumbing outages and ensuring the final product aligned with their vision.

The scope of works involved a complete redesign, including the addition of a new poker machine room, a new TAB facility, two new bars, an alfresco deck, a new commercial kitchen, new toilets, and a full refurbishment of the walls, ceilings, and flooring. We collaborated closely with the design team to maximize both the practical and functional benefits of the refurbishment, ensuring a space that was not only aesthetically pleasing but also operationally efficient.

The project was completed in five distinct stages, carefully managed to ensure the Club remained fully operational throughout the process. Our team prioritized the safety of both our staff and the club’s personnel and clientele, all while maintaining uninterrupted service for the club’s members and visitors.

The products and finishes selected were of the highest quality, designed to deliver a sophisticated and timeless end result. All of this was achieved while adhering to both budget and timeline constraints, leaving the client thrilled with the final outcome.
